May 26:
The night of our escapade on the mountain, I went with the rest of the relief society presidency up to City Creek in Salt Lake City and we indulged in the goodness of the shopping center. Starting with Blue Lemon, some shopping, a little cheesecake from the Cheesecake factory, and then some more shopping. They helped me find some good stuff to buy. I sure love these two gals!!! Every experience with them is an adventure...

May 28:
The Monday following our near death experience on the mountain, Stan and I went on an impromptu drive through the mountains from the mouth of Provo Canyon to Hobble Creek Canyon. The road was treacherous, but we lived, only by the grace of this little guy:
4-wheel drive. Otherwise, I would not be writing this post, because we would be in a canyon somewhere...or stuck in the mud...the snow had left us plenty of mud. Here is our evidence...
May 30-June 1: First work camping trip
We took half of the eligible girls at work camping down to Moab. It was a good time sleeping out underneath the stars, playing with fire, hiking, sweating, playing with fire, and just living in the wild. I LOVE camping. It is fun to be with the girls in that type of atmosphere and chill with them. Did I mention I got to play with fire?
June 8-10: Trip to the farm
After work on Friday, Stan and I drove up to visit with his parents...well rather, I visited with his parents while he worked on his dissertation. :) But it was a great fun weekend! Stan took a break for a few on Saturday and we went to the hot springs pool for a swim, which was a lot of fun. Stan's sister Josie came up with his adorable niece too and it was a lot of fun to have them around. It's always a wonderful trip when we head up there. Here is a picture from the beautiful sunset on our drive up there.
June 16: Carie's wedding
This was an absolutely wonderful day! I am soooo excited for my dear friend Carie and her Aaron. They are a great couple and the day was so fun to be with them...and TONS of fun to be with old friends! I love this picture of all us girls:

After the reception that night, Stan and I got to see a great firework show right on the golf course where the reception was. It was perfect!
June 18-20: Camping trip numero dos
It was all the same stuff just different girls, which made the whole trip totally different, but still really good, and I still got to play with fire. :) I got a nasty fun bruise though on the back of my calf:

June 22: The burning of Stan's papers
I wish I had a picture of this one, but I don't. Stan and I drove up Provo Canyon and had ourselves a little burning party of all his confidential papers he has gathered over the last many years. We got scared a couple times that we were going to start a forest fire because the wind was blowing our burning paper into the woods, but we escaped the experience without doing so. We made some delicious s'mores too!
June 23: Strawberry Days Rodeo
It has been in my tradition for the last few years to go to the Strawberry Days Rodeo. I really could care less about the rodeo part...it's all about the strawberries and cream! I was able to exercise self-control and only eat one cup, though I really wanted plenty more.
I did wear the hat so I was legit for a couple ...and I'm sad this other picture is so grainy, the lighting was so bad :(
Yep, yep! Life is full of adventures! I'm excited for the month of July because there are many more to come! My family is coming the first week, another trip to Idaho, one to Arizona for a family reunion, another camping trip for work, and then comes August...Stan's officially graduating and moving to to New Mexico in the middle, which is so exciting and sad all at once. There will be a week of camping for work that month, and other busyness. This summer is a fun, busy one!!
