We got up to Idaho that afternoon, and got busy playing on the farm.
Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Gerald came over to visit Sunday evening. I love seeing the boys with Grandpa Gerald. They love how he teases them.
Monday was filled with more playing and water fun!
Kevin and Bethany joined us on the 4th of July and celebrated with swimming, food, family, and lots of fun. We are so grateful for the country we live in and the freedoms we enjoy. We are especially grateful for the example of our parents and grandparents in their love and respect for our great country.
| Scott's creation. He loved playing with all of Grandma's toys. |
Wednesday, our family party was really getting going as more family came. The boys loved having cousins finally around.

And then with the boys gone, the rest of us did a lot of "zone defense" to make sure the kids were alive and having a good time. Grandma took all the kids on little rides:
And while others were getting rides...
Here are a few pictures of my boys being silly with some glasses that Josie so kindly gave us:

The boys got home on Friday evening and we were sure glad! Saturday morning started with more yummy food. Sterling really enjoyed it.
We spent some time "working" on the farm with Grandpa, with all girl cousins, the boys got some snazzy hand-me-down pink boots:

And after the work, comes play!
Of course we have to have a shout out to Stan's hobby. We were able to talk while they were on their trip so clear and easy with Stan's ingenious creations.
