Idaho October 2017

We waited until James was a couple months old before we made the trek up to Idaho to show him off. This would be the last time that we could fly with Sterling being a lap child ticket. The boys were pretty excited about the airplanes and really did quite well on the rides. We had a layover in Salt Lake City and found a spot to just spread out and be.

Sterling is so cute with James and always wants to hold him.
And it escalated quickly...I had no idea he had his finger in James' mouth until I was looking at the pictures later. This might be my favorite picture ever. Sorry James!
Scott went down to Grandma Nancy's and got to sit on the tractor
And swing
And then he played in Grandma Julie's leaf pile
Stan took Sterling out to shoot guns

We smoked some ribs and a chicken
Meeting Grandma Nancy

Sterling was really excited about getting on the tractor with Grandpa even though his face shows otherwise
There was, of course, lots of desserts. Here we are making a raspberry cheesecake
Stan putting his special touch on the swirl
 And family pictures!

I love watching these cousins play together, they love each other so much.
Sweet sleeping baby
After pictures, we had a handful of fun things to do together, first up was craft time! Josie, Kathryn, and Bethany are so good at planning fun crafts for the kids. We made fuzz ball spiders. The boys loved them and almost a year later we still have one lying around somewhere still getting played with!

All the kids with their spiders
After craft time, it was time to dress up and have a costume parade!

Scott chose the dinosaur costume
A grumpy bat

The next event for the day was a fun obstacle course

The last thing we did was have a fishing pond. Here are the boys plus Avery watching others take their turn of fishing at Grandpa's pond
After a long day, it was our turn to relax!
The siblings
Larry and Kathryn and Kevin and Bethany all had to head out so we said our goodbyes.

These two 😍
We just hung out and played the rest of the time.

Love it when cousins hang out close together

We stole away for an afternoon double date with Josie and Jimmy (and Laura) to the corn maze. It was so much fun. As we entered there was a newspaper reporter that asked if he could follow us around for a minute and Laura made the newspaper!

My boys
Scott liked trying on all of Grandma's costumes
Grandma Nancy (Ancy) and Grandpa Gerald came to say goodbye the night before we left. I just love watching the boys with them. They are so good and the boys love them so much!

We headed to the airport the next day.

We had to wait for a few for the plane and so we did some walking around the airport. We were glad to have another minute to spend with Grandma and Grandpa.

We loved everything about our trip to Idaho and can't wait for next year!
