The Wedding Festivities, Part 2: The Morning

December 14, 2012

The morning of the wedding I woke up and went with my old roommate, Melodie and my sister, Jenni, to get my hair and makeup done.

Melodie said the picture on the left looks like I was freakin' out...that detail doesn't really matter now... Tiffani did a great job with both the hair and the makeup. I'm not quite sure how the pinned up deal in pic 2 turned into my hair, just glad it did.

I went home, slipped on the wedding dress, and headed to the temple with my mom to meet Stan and our wonderful Photographer, Ashley (check out her awesome work: http://sunshineandshadephotography.blogspot.com/)
It had rained a ton the night before and sprinkled some that morning, but the sun came out to play for our pictures. Here are a :few: favorites:

And then, we went inside the temple. The ceremony was beautiful and an indescribable amazing experience. I love the power of the covenants available in the Lord's house. They're real. And then we were married!

The Wedding Festivities, Part 1: Wedding Dinner

I apologize for the incredibly long wait all of you have had to endure to see these pictures. Get ready for many a post over the next week or so as we catch up on the last two months of life. We don't have internet in the apartment so I have to be a little more intentional about writing. Maybe if you each harass me enough then I'll be more diligent. :)

And without further ado...

Stan's parents put on a wonderful party the night before our wedding at The Landmark Restaurant in Mesa. It was a fun evening surrounded by those we love. Sadly, all of the pictures from that night are on Stan's computer, not mine, but it was so fun! The dinner was delicious, everyone said nice things, and of course, the company and program was the best part! We have the best family and support in the world!
