Snow Hike

Yesterday we made plans to go snowshoeing! We had bought the snowshoes for Christmas last year and haven't had a chance to use them. We went to our picked out location and didn't look like there was enough snow :( So we donned our snow gear minus the snowshoes and went for a little hike.

It could be our lack of hikes lately, or we'll blame the hiking in the snow with all the gear on, hiking yesterday was sure exhausting! So we had to take a break :)

This was unusual for Stan to hike behind me, he kept checking his hiking app that we've been building to see where we were at and how it was going :) I couldn't quite capture a picture of him doing it though.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day!

As we hiked along we realized we could have totally brought our snowshoes and got some good use out of them :( The car was almost a good mile back, which was about a mile too far for me to want to hike back and get them :) So we just enjoyed playing and trying to introduce Scott to the snow...
