Around Albuquerque October 2016

Lots of fun memories around town this month. I love that the day to day busyness can bring such fun memories. The boys are sure growing quick and do fun things every day.

Scott is constantly being told he needs to put shoes on to go outside. These were his choice one day.

Scott did some stretches with me one morning.

A Sunday walk one beautiful afternoon.

I took the boys to the zoo one day. Scott loved it, Sterling didn't seem to quite be aware yet of what was around him.

The zoo workers had put food on the different pages of these magazines so the monkeys were licking and eating pages as they flipped through them.

Scott thought it was the funniest thing in the world but also didn't seem to know quite how he felt about how close we were to them. He kept doing this nervous laugh sitting there next to the monkeys.

But he LOVED the giraffe.

And Sterling was just grateful to have the stroller to himself for a minute.

One day Stan was amazing and took the initiative to make dinner for us. It was delicious!!

And he even cut me fresh flowers off our our rose bushes.

Mom's lap is the place to be. I love/hate it.

Halloween was fun this year. We still haven't completely shown Scott how it all works, but on the Saturday before Halloween we carved pumpkins. Scott thought it was soooo fun.

We have the funniest video of Scott coaching Stan through cutting out the parts of his pumpkin. He leaned over his should saying in a low grunting voice, "Push, Puuuuuuuussssshhhh, Puuuuuuuuuuuusssssshhhhh!"

Scott wanted to do his own, so I had him color this pumpkin that we had bought earlier in the month. He even put a smiley face on it all by himself. I was pretty proud of his mad art skills.

A year and a half ago I bought this Superman outfit at a boutique in Angel Fire, New Mexico for a quarter. He wears it from time to time but he said he wanted to wear it for Halloween, so I made him a cape.

This is how Scott flies like Superman. Arms back, hands up, as fast as possible.

He loved the addition of the cape.

We just went next door and then across the street but Scott came away with enough treats as though we had gone to a whole street. He thought Trick or Treating was so fun!
