Most of the wonderful things that happened in December happened "around town".
| One Sunday, after getting the boys all ready and heading to presidency meetings, I got a text from Stan saying Scott had gotten chocolate ALL over his white shirt and attached with this picture. I was grateful for a quick working washing machine and dryer that morning :) |
| When Scott was born, a friend of ours gave us this cute sweatshirt. It finally fit him and Scott LOVES to wear his "Katie Lisonbee sweater". He is getting so grownup. When he wears this sweater, I feel like he looks like a teenager. |
| A couple of mornings in December I found Sterling in his crib with his shirt like this... |
| ALL of our leaves fell (We are talking, there were a couple of leaves on the ground and then there were only a couple on the tree) while we were gone for Thanksgiving, so we picked them up at the beginning of December. Scott was my great little leave stomping helper. |
The first weekend in December, we headed to the dinosaur museum. Scott loved the dinosaurs out front. We probably could have just seen them and he would have been happy.
| "Look a ceratops!" |
| There was a T-Rex at the front of the museum and it had its mouth open. Scott laughed and laughed at it. He said it was talking to him. |
| So excited about the brontosaurus. |
Working out with Dad:
| This boy is going to be trouble. He wasn't quite even walking and was already trying to climb up onto the leg of the table so he could get something off of the table he saw me put on there. |
| Our sweet neighbor brought us these cute mugs from Puerto Rico and another nice friend brought us Salt Caramel Hot Chocolate. Yummy treat! |
| Sterling getting his work out on too. |
| One day, at nap time, Scott tried to take his nap in the bumbo. I told him no, but here he is explaining to me why it's a good 'dea. |
| Getting our Christmas tree! 2 out of 3 looking at the camera and smiling, I'll take it. |
| For our anniversary (#4!!) we hit up our usual, Texas Roadhouse! Yum!! |
| Stan was sooo thoughtful and for an anniversary/Christmas present, took me to see the Hallelujah chorus performed at Popejoy Hall. Neither of us had ever seen it but I LOVED it!! |
| We had trouble getting a picture without weird lighting... :) |
| Sterling LOVES chapstick...he carries it around like this all the time. |
| Waking brother up one morning. |
| You can't quite see, but Sterling was laughing so hard in this picture. He just adores Scott and loves to play with him. |
| Scott was texting a friend |
| Two days after Christmas playing with his presents. |
| I mopped the floor one day and Sterling was very determined to join me in the kitchen, he got stuck down there! |
| Afternoon at the park |
| An afternoon at another park. Stan was so patient as we tried to help Scott with his bike...he still doesn't quite get it/he might be a little lazy :) |
And our New Year's Eve party. We did our usual Bean Dip, Lobster/shrimp, and some Eggnog. I had to include both pictures just because Stan looks good in one and Sterling looks good in another...Scott is still working on his smile :)
Love my boys! It was soooo fun to have Stan around for the last week December.
