We celebrated Halloween by wandering in the desert. We knew of yet another homestead and although it wasn't a large one, we decided to just wander around and see what we could find.

| Getting ready to go, Scott was taking good care of the "rio" |
| After I got my hiking shoes on, Scott came and grabbed my hand and took matters into his own hand, he pulled me down the road. |
| As we started our on our hike, Scott wanted to walk, so we let him. He was so cute walking through the sagebrush. Sometimes he would walk himself into a blockade of sage brush and would have to back track. He kept looking up to see where Stan was and tried to figure out how to get there. |
| We made our way up the mesa side and found this crazy tree. It looks like it forgot to grow in the dirt. It was a super tall tree! |
| On the top of the mesa |
| It was a beautiful day! |
| On the top of the mesa, there were these holes made by water. |
| This hole was really deep. |
| We let Scott walk around on top of the mesa some. He was in heaven, if you look at this picture closely, you can see his big grin. He did try to do a few scary things though, like step off large rocks, so I had to keep a really close reign on him. |
We found the homestead ruin on our way down the mesa and back to the car. The bushes made it really hard to get too close but Stan was able to get some good pictures. Here are the pictures from it:

| A window frame. |
| It looks like they had white washed their walls. |
